Betty has been baking fresh scones each morning for over eight years. Top these beautiful scones with our hand-made jam and freshly whipped cream and you will find yourself savouring a mouth- watering experience that has the locals and tourists returning again and again.
The Old Teahouse Gallery also has a selection of home made cakes and biscuits to enjoy with your favourite tea or coffee.

The Old Teahouse Gallery has a selection of teas from around the world for you to experience and purchase.
When you arrive we will present you with a tray of small sample pots of tea for you to smell. This way you can select your tea based on what your senses have told you as well as choosing from the menu. This method of selecting tea has proven very popular with our guests, as they are able to experience the beautiful aromas of the tea prior to making their choice.
Our range of speciality teas caters for every taste and includes:
flavoured black teas- such as Stockholm Blend -blended with vanilla, apricot, orange peel, calendula, rose petal, Chai, Irish Cream, Chocolate and Vanilla Blend, and our very popular French Earl Grey plus more
• herbal infusions such as Berries of the Forest and Peppermint
• Green Tea such as Japanese Morning Dew, China Sencha
• old favourites such as Earl Grey, English Breakfast, Darjeeling and Orange Pekoe.
We also offer High Tea Gold Coast style, gourmet coffees and hot chocolate, as well as ice cold purified water.
Of course your tea will be served in beautiful vintage fine china on the verandah of our 100 year old Queenslander overlooking the beautiful gardens of our Gold Coast Wedding Venue. A little slice of serenity while you enjoy freshly baked scones, jam and cream and your favourite tea. We can’t think of anything more relaxing, can you?
